| 2022 was a remarkable year for Washington and Lee by any measure. In addition to the full program of academic and extracurricular activities and campus events that we enjoyed this year, we have many reasons to celebrate this institution and give thanks for the tremendous community that makes our success possible. |

| Washington and Lee Athletics |
|
 W&L offers 24 varsity sports, 12 for men and 12 for women. All sports compete at the NCAA Division III level, and most participate in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). The Generals enjoyed a tremendous fall athletics season that culminated with five programs competing in NCAA Championship events. View the 2022-23 composite sports schedule. Through Traveller, W&L's educational adventure program, participants will get to know the world firsthand, to experience different cultures inside their borders, to appreciate different world views and to savor the inspiring beauty and history of other lands. |
