Note from the Dean

The long list of deadlines in this newsletter reminds us that we are running at full speed. With Mock Con next week and numerous events happening this month, I hope you find time to enjoy the gift of being part of a vibrant liberal arts university.

At Ruby Bridge's keynote MLK lecture, we were reminded that access to education—and particularly a fantastic experience like the one we deliver—is a privilege not to be taken for granted. We are striving to make W&L as inclusive as possible, and I am grateful for all you do to make our students, staff, and each other feel supported in our community. I challenge all of us to do more.

Now take a deep breath and hold on tight: Washington Break will be here before we know it!
