| Happy New Year! 2026 started in an extremely cold and icy way in Lexington, but, luckily for me, our regional campaign events are underway and beginning in Florida. Be sure to check out the calendar as we continue to take the Leading Lives of Consequence campaign on the road this spring in the South (plus San Francisco in March). |
| The newest W&L: The Washington and Lee Magazine is hot off the presses with the theme of the W&L network. Our incredible alumni network continues to be a defining characteristic of our university, and one I'm lucky to witness daily. Check out the links below for wonderful stories that showcase the power of our connections. |
| And thank you to everyone who has submitted nominations as part of the alumni trustee election process. The Alumni Board committee is currently reviewing nominations, and information about voting will be shared later this spring. In addition, the Alumni Association is currently seeking nominations for the Alumni Board, so please send any recommendations through our nomination form. |

| W&L: The Washington and Lee Magazine - The W&L Network Issue |
|
The fall/winter issue of W&L: The Washington and Lee Magazine has arrived. The issue highlights the W&L network and explores the many ways our deep connections manifest as students and in the years afterward. Read about the early-career assistance our alumni provide current students in "Career Connections," the 25-plus years of the Williams Investment Society, the unifying thread of the Honor System, the evolution of biology professor emeritus Cleveland Hickman's Spring Term Abroad class to the Galapagos Islands and so much more. |
| We'd love to hear from you! Have a professional milestone or personal achievement you want to celebrate? Submit a Class Note through your Colonnade Connections account. Did this issue spark any reflections you'd like to share? Send us a note for a future Letters to the Editor column by emailing magazine@wlu.edu. |
