| Despite the chilly weather, Parents and Family Weekend was a great success! I always enjoy seeing families, especially those of first-year students, watch their children thriving, finding their place and building community on our beautiful campus. I recently came across a photo from one of my Parents Weekends as a student ... not much has changed! |
| As I mentioned last month, our fall has been full of activity: Young Alumni Weekend; Five-Star Festival; Law and Literature Weekend; dedications for the Lindley Center for Student Wellness, new Williams School building and Tom Wolfe Reading Room; Reading Days career trips; the Real Estate Forum; and expanded chapter programming, to name a few. The momentum is real, and I encourage you to read below for more on these and other exciting updates from campus. |
| Before I close, I have one quick ask: Please activate your new Colonnade Connections account! W&L recently relaunched our alumni directory with a fresh design and upgraded features that make it easier than ever for alumni and students to stay connected with each other and the university. It's quick, intuitive and user-friendly. If you have any questions, reach out to us anytime at alumni@wlu.edu. |

| Activate Your Colonnade Connections Account |
|
Washington and Lee University recently launched a new version of our alumni directory, Colonnade Connections. This refreshed platform makes it easier than ever to connect with classmates, explore the alumni network and keep your information up to date. Since this is a brand-new system, all alumni will need to activate a new account before logging in for the first time. It only takes a few minutes: |
1. Visit the Colonnade Connections login page.
2. Under First time users, select the blue "click here" link.
3. Complete and submit the brief activation form.
4. Once verified, you will receive an email with your login credentials for your new account. |
| In the weeks ahead, the W&L Alumni Association will once again open the nomination process for the election of an alumnus/a to the university's Board of Trustees. To ensure security, accuracy and administrative efficiency, the Trustee nomination and election process will be conducted through Colonnade Connections. Alumni must be logged into Colonnade Connections to nominate a candidate, to accept a nomination and to vote. |
