September 2025

A Note From Campus
What a fantastic start to the year! September kicked off with a bang as we took the campaign back on the road, visiting Denver and Charlottesville, Virginia. The energy at these events has been electric, and you will not want to miss the next stops in St. Louis and Chicago this week. And remember, you do not have to live in those chapters to join us. If you are in town, you are welcome!
Young Alumni Weekend was another record-breaking celebration honoring the Classes of 2015, 2020 and 2025. From Cocktails on the Colonnade to catching up with beloved faculty, reminiscing with friends and cheering on the Generals, the weekend was packed with memorable moments, including presenting the Distinguished Young Alumni Award. A special shoutout to our student-athletes, who delivered big wins throughout the weekend. If you have not already seen it, check out our field hockey team's incredible overtime winning goal against Franklin & Marshall!
This week, we turn our attention to Five-Star Festival, featuring keynote David Bethea '70, and Law and Literature before heading to Washington, D.C., for our fall break career trips and the Real Estate Forum. Finally, do not forget to activate your new Colonnade Connections account. Send any questions to alumni@wlu.edu.
