| Benefit Reminder – Carilion Employee Assistance Program (EAP) |
|
| The university partners with Carilion to provide an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for employees. The EAP is a voluntary, confidential professional counseling and referral service designed to help individuals with personal, job or family concerns. Counselors can help employees and their immediate family members identify, resolve and gain control over personal problems that may be interfering with work and daily life. Assistance is available by calling 1-800-992-1913. The first four visits per life situation are free. Supervisors have the added benefit of being able to make referrals when employees are experiencing personal difficulty. Please contact Human Resources for guidance in these situations. |
