Guest pianist J.Y. Song, faculty member of The Juilliard School and The Mannes School in New York City, will first present a master class to featured pianists of the W&L Piano Program, and then continue the discussion on navigating the world as a cross-cultural performer and educator with a curiosity that spans multiple disciplines: music, science and entrepreneurship. Art Lecture and Reception: “Fragile Intangibilities”

“Fragile Intangibilities,” a solo exhibition by New York-based artist Daphne Arthur, comprises 11 hand-sewn silk organza camping tents. Each tent is suffused with drawings made with ink that are inspired by interviews that Arthur conducted.
