Two Employees Collect Degrees Through W&L’s Staff Continuing Education Program
Brittany Carr earned a Master of Education degree from Liberty University, and Jana Turpin earned an Associate of Applied Science degree from Virginia Western Community College.

Tuvshin Anderson ’25, Mariam Drammeh ’25 and Mary Kate Murschell '25 were each awarded a U.S. Teaching Assistantship, while Allie Stankewich ’23 was awarded the SIT Alice Rowan Swanson Fellowship.

The 13-lined ground squirrels currently residing in the Science Center for associate professor of biology Jessica LaPrice’s research have inspired a cross-campus collaboration that showcases W&L’s emphasis on hands-on learning.
