Springtime in Lexington truly cannot be beat! Campus is busy with activity, and we have an event every weekend until the summer. The School of Law just welcomed back alumni from the classes of 2019 to 1974 for Law Alumni Weekend. This past weekend, alumni from all generations came to campus to celebrate the 50th anniversary of archaeology at W&L with a reunion honoring the contributions of Professor Emeritus of Anthropology and Archaeology John McDaniel '64. Lifelong Learning's Tom Wolfe Weekend Seminar featuring Tess Gunty, author of "The Rabbit Hutch," is next week, followed by Alumni Weekend 2024 the first weekend in May. We are grateful to all of our reunion committee volunteers for their hard work – there is much to celebrate! |
Undergraduate students are taking Winter Term exams this week, which means only one thing: Spring Term is around the corner! We want to hear from you what your favorite Spring Term class and/or memory was. Send your thoughts to magazine@wlu.edu. |
