Board of Trustees Welcomes Two New Members
Samantha McLemore ’02 and Lee Hollis ’86 to Join W&L Board of Trustees
McLemore and Hollis will be sworn in at the board’s spring meeting.

Beau Dudley '74, '79L to Retire as Executive Director of Alumni Engagement
Dudley will continue working at W&L in a half-time capacity as senior advisor to the vice president for University Advancement handling various alumni affairs-related duties.

The March Reunion Reconnect Weekend registration links are open! The Alumni Engagement office encourages you to register now and to make your plans to be in Lexington on March 18 – 19, as we stage a gathering for all 16 classes who missed their Alumni Weekends in 2020 and 2021.

Ahead of Black Alumni Weekend 2022 and the 50th anniversary of the Black Ball, founding members of the Student Association of Black Unity are reviving an emergency student fund in memory of their late mentor and friend Marjorie Poindexter.
W&L Celebrates Three Distinguished Alumni at the 2022 Five-Star Festival
Preston C. Manning Jr. '52, Henry Coke Morgan Jr. '57, '60L and Charles E. Commander '62 will receive their awards virtually during the Five-Star Festival, March 3 - 5, 2022.

As part of its 2021-22 lecture series on daily ethics, the Roger Mudd Center for Ethics at Washington and Lee University partnered with Staniar Gallery and invited community members to participate in a collaborative art project called the Daily Ethics Mosaic, which is now on display in Wilson Hall's Lykes Atrium.
