| While classes may not be in session, excitement brims on campus. We are thrilled to have officially welcomed back Ken Ruscio '76 as our interim president, who was sworn in on July 1. Fittingly, that date also coincided with his first day on the job as W&L president 20 years ago. |
| The 2025-26 fiscal year was one for the history books, as the W&L Fund exceeded $11 million for the first time, the Leading Lives of Consequence capital campaign surpassed $628 million and more than 9,600 donors gave to at least one of the university's priorities. The physical manifestations of this incredible generosity dot campus, with construction underway for Founders Hall and with the completed Lindley Center and the new Williams School building serving our community. |

The 33rd annual program Oct. 9-10 focuses on Louise Erdrich’s National Book Award-winning novel, “The Round House.” Erdrich, a citizen of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians of North Dakota, has written close to 30 works of fiction and nonfiction and won the Pulitzer Prize for her 2020 novel, “The Night Watchman.”
