W&L After Class: Understanding Humanity Through Theater
Professor Stephanie Sandberg's current research focuses on theater for social justice, contemporary issues in theater, human trafficking, human sexuality as represented on stage, and adapting theater into film production.
Students Form Blue Ridge Mile Clinic
The clinic is a Lexington-based program run by W&L students that partners with Virginia's Drive to Work initiative to help low-income or previously incarcerated individuals gain or restore their driving privileges.
W&L Law Review Publishes Issue Showcasing Black Authors
All of the featured articles are the products of two writing workshops, the Lutie A. Lytle Black Women Law Faculty Workshop and Writing Retreat and the John Mercer Langston Black Male Law Faculty Writing Workshop.
Meet the Professor
W&L's new hires specialize in fields ranging from the 1787 Constitutional Convention and piano works from the Romantic era to medicinal chemistry and community-based learning. Our series of "Meet the Professor" profiles lets you get to know the faculty's new faces.
Historians for a Day
A class of history students from Powhatan High School spent a day in Washington and Lee Special Collections and Archives, where they got to work with original materials from the vault.
