Reunion and Commencement are annual reminders of all that we have achieved as a W&L community. Alumni Weekend 2023 was a resounding success! More than 940 alumni and guests were met with perfect spring weather and a picturesque campus, setting the stage for an enjoyable weekend together in Lexington. |
The themes I heard repeatedly were that campus is as beautiful as ever and the students are amazing, a welcome reminder of just how special W&L is. The Class of 1973-sponsored panel featured five impressive current seniors, who spoke to the W&L experience today. Our students epitomize the best of who we are and, as I often say, you need to come back to campus to remind yourself why this place is like no other. Only in Lexington can you experience the Colonnade, House Mountain, cheering on the Generals, and seeing old professors who changed your life. Thank you to those who came back. You brought fantastic energy, and we look forward to seeing you again. To the Class of 1973, our newest Five-Stars, please come back next year to celebrate! |
But springtime is not complete without our Undergraduate and Law Commencement ceremonies. The School of Law's Class of 2023 celebrated under beautiful blue skies May 12, and the undergraduate commencement took place May 25. You can read more about Alumni Weekend, the graduation festivities and much more below. |
