A Note From Campus
We closed out October with a picture-perfect fall weekend to host the more than 450 alumni and guests who returned to campus for Young Alumni Weekend. A highlight for me was the Cocktails on the Colonnade event on Friday evening celebrating the reunion classes of 2012 and 2017. Beautiful weather, gorgeous setting and lively laughter filled the front lawn.
We have exciting personnel news to share! Kelley Melvin '08 is our new Director of Alumni Engagement. Kelley, the first woman to hold this leadership position, is from Lexington and a loyal W&L alumna. I look forward to working with Kelley and her team as we expand our offerings to alumni, parents and friends of the university.
