W&L is in full swing: The leaves are turning, and fine weather finds the Colonnade buzzing with students as reading days and midterms approach.

Meet the Class of 2025!

This year Washington and Lee welcomed 485 students from 37 states as well as Puerto Rico and 19 foreign countries, including 50 first-generation students, 47 children of alumni, 30 QuestBridge finalists, 41 Johnson Scholars and 158 recruited athletes. They came for the Speaking Tradition, the Honor System, the top-notch academics and because, they said over and over, "it just felt like home."

Participate in W&L’s Trustee Election Process
Reminder – Submit a Board of Trustees Nomination by Oct. 15
The Alumni Association, acting through the Alumni Board of Directors and the Alumni Engagement Office, is soliciting nominees from all alumni for consideration to be one of three candidates on an alumni ballot for election to the Washington and Lee University Board of Trustees. The nomination period ends Oct. 15, 2021.

To submit a Trustee nomination this month and cast your vote on the final candidates in early 2022, you must log in through Colonnade Connections, W&L’s online alumni community. You can create or update your Colonnade Connections profile here.
