Fall has officially arrived at Washington and Lee University!

| We are halfway through the fall semester and students took advantage of many opportunities over Reading Days (including staying on campus to study!). Fifty students embarked on a career trip to Washington, D.C., with the Office of Career and Professional Development. They chose one of three trips: accounting, economics and social impact, and real estate. W&L also hosted our fifth Real Estate Forum with record attendance. It was great to be back, providing value-added programming for our alumni, parents and friends. |
| Young Alumni Weekend is two weeks away and we are excited to welcome back all alumni from the classes of 2013 to 2023. I look forward to bestowing the Distinguished Young Alumni Award upon three alumni who were some of the first students I got to know once I returned to W&L 12 years ago. |

Law and Literature Weekend Seminar |
This Alumni College program will focus on "The Final Case," a new novel by David Guterson, and will involve a host of questions about law, society, and professionalism. The program is open to anyone interested in literature — you don’t need to be an attorney to attend.
