Recently promoted faculty from the College, Law School and Williams School will share their research and creative work in a stimulating PechaKucha format. We will all celebrate these colleagues as we learn from their expertise and enjoy pizza and Salerno's famous beer wall. Slices of Research is designed to bring faculty and staff together in a social space to strengthen our intellectual and cultural community. Come out and toast your colleagues across W&L. You may even leave with ideas for new collaborations. Please join us at Salerno on Tuesday, Jan. 30 at 5:30 p.m. The first hour will be devoted to socializing, and the presentations will begin at 6:30 p.m. All faculty and staff are invited to join. The concert honors the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Back for the first time since before the COVID-19 pandemic, the performance will feature readings of speeches and poems by King, Maya Angelou, Langston Hughes and others, interspersed with musical reflections performed by W&L’s University Singers, Glee Club and Cantatrici. The performance is free and open to the public.
