Retirement Account Resources |
|
TIAA and Fidelity Certified Financial Planners are on campus each month to meet with participants. |
• For those nearing retirement, they can explain the options available for drawing money when you retire and can help with related paperwork.
• For new employees, they can explain the investment choices and help you set up your retirement account.
• All other participants are encouraged to meet annually with TIAA or Fidelity to review your account and make any necessary changes. |
Schedules and instructions for making an appointment are available on the HR website by clicking the link for "Programs and Events." Employees also have access to free personal financial planning through SageView Advisory Group, a Registered Investment Advisory firm. SageView committed to providing free personal financial planning, asset allocation support and overall financial wellbeing advice and services for W&L employees. Patrick Abelon from SageView is on campus each month to meet one-on-one with employees. He can answer questions such as "how do I enroll in the 403(b) Plan" or "am I on track with my saving goals," as well as all retirement planning questions in-between. Patrick's schedule can be located at the website link noted above. For questions, please contact Kim Austin at kaustin@wlu.edu. |
