Tahrington (Tahri) Phillips ’23, a cognitive and behavioral science and English double major, is Washington and Lee University’s 18th Rhodes Scholar.
Washington and Lee Commemorates Veterans Day
The Washington and Lee community gathered on Friday, Nov. 11 to honor the military service of current and retired members of the staff, faculty and student body.
W&L’s University Singers Win Multiple Awards at City of Derry International Choir Festival
University Singers placed third in the festival’s International Open Competition and received the prestigious Visit Derry Award for their final performance.

Is Crypto Dead? The Blowup of FTX and its Aftermath

Last week the second largest cryptocurrency exchange, FTX, was exposed as a fraud of epic proportions, which has caused the crypto industry to turn inward to ask crucial questions about its role in finance. Three panelists will discuss the future of decentralized finance in light of FTX, as well as some of the other major challenges and opportunities in the crypto space.
