| The university offers interest-free loans to purchase a personal computer and printer. Employees must have completed six or more months in a benefit eligible position. Lecture: Cara Rogers Stevens on Thomas Jefferson

Cara Rogers Stevens, associate professor of history at Ashland University, will deliver a lecture her recent book, “Thomas Jefferson and the Fight Against Slavery” (2024), which examines what Jefferson did — and did not — do to end slavery and bring equality to America. The event, hosted by W&L’s Office of Lifelong Learning in partnership with the Rockbridge Historical Society, is free and open to the public. More Info
