Computer Purchase Program
The university offers interest-free loans to purchase a personal computer and printer. Employees must have completed six or more months in a benefit eligible position. Loans may not exceed $4,000 and must be re-paid within 24 months through payroll deduction. For more information about this loan program, contact Suzannah Vess in Human Resources (x8348).

Lecture: Cara Rogers Stevens on Thomas Jefferson
5:30 p.m. Stackhouse Theater
Cara Rogers Stevens, associate professor of history at Ashland University, will deliver a lecture her recent book, “Thomas Jefferson and the Fight Against Slavery” (2024), which examines what Jefferson did — and did not — do to end slavery and bring equality to America. The event, hosted by W&L’s Office of Lifelong Learning in partnership with the Rockbridge Historical Society, is free and open to the public.
