New Maintenance and Asset Management System Goes Live July 8
Washington and Lee University Facilities is pleased to announce the July 8 launch of Limble, a new computerized maintenance and asset management system. This new platform will replace the MicroMain system for university-related work order requests such as HVAC issues, plumbing issues, pest issues and painting and carpentry requests. MicroMain will continue to serve as the primary platform for event setup requests until the university migrates to Limble for those requests next spring. Limble boasts a more user-friendly interface, allowing University Facilities to communicate and track workflow more efficiently. Want to know more about the system and its capabilities? Harte Center Workshop: Free Your Summer with AI
3 p.m. Parmly Hall
Much of the debate around ChatGPT centers on students using it to make learning easier. This session will focus on how educators can use it to make teaching easier. Using ChatGPT, faculty can design a course aligned with program outcomes, varied assessment methods and engaging classroom activities. Even better, they can do so in an hour. This session will get faculty up and running with a solid foundation for the academic year, leaving the rest of summer for vacation.
