Salad Bar Discount 2024-2025 |
|
The salad bar discount is a great reward for participating in Live Well W&L! Once you accumulate three Live Well W&L tokens (red and/or blue), you qualify for the salad bar sticker. Click here to submit for your sticker. This sticker allows you to enjoy lunch at The Marketplace Salad Bar for $6.50 (plus tax) once per day, every day until June 2025. This includes soup and a drink at no additional cost. The discount is exclusively available to benefit-eligible employees and is non-transferable. To receive the discount, please present your University ID with the salad bar sticker and barcode to the cashier. |

New Rise Digital Display Guidelines |
|
W&L's Office of Communications & Public Affairs and Information Technology Services are pleased to announce an official policy framework for the university's Rise digital display system. The Rise digital display network includes over 40 screens across campus informing the W&L community about relevant news, activities and events. Content submissions for the Rise system will now be accepted through the Web Help Desk and the new submission guidelines can be viewed online. Only requests placed through the Web Help Desk that meet the new requirements will be approved for posting on Rise displays. Emory University professor Andra Gillespie will deliver a lecture titled “Same Vocabulary, Different Meanings." She will assist the audience in understanding the dynamics that can exacerbate division and polarization, and she will offer mitigation strategies to bridge the gap of understanding. Her lecture will help employees prepare for the election season and seeks to build ways to support faculty to ensure every classroom and university hub encourages the expression of diverse views.
