| Review Your Home and Work Addresses |
|
| It's that time again! Each fall and spring, the Office of Human Resources asks that employees review their personal information in our records to be sure everything is correct. To review and update your information, please log into Workday (myapps.wlu.edu) and follow the instructions below: |
- Click on the Personal Information application under menu at the top left.
- Under Change, click on Contact Information.
- Review your home and work contact information.
- If changes need to be made, click on the edit button (near the top) and select home or work contact information, whichever is applicable.
- Click on the pencil in the appropriate box to make the necessary change(s).
- Click on the checkmark once you have made your change(s).
- Click Submit.

| Remember to update the address(s) for your dependents and beneficiaries as well. From the Workday home page, click on the Benefits and Pay application under menu at the top left. In the Benefits section on the left, click into it to view the various screens underneath. Select Dependents and/or Beneficiaries to go to that page and then click the edit buttons to update their address(es). |
| **Important** If you changed your work contact information using the above steps, please also follow the steps below to ensure that your work space also gets changed so that the online directory will be correct going forward. |
- Click on your profile picture at the top right, then click View Profile.
- Hover your mouse over Position, then click the three dots to the right.
- Click Position > Change My Work Space.
- In the work space field, type in the name of the building where you work and hit enter.
- Select your building and office location from the dropdown.
- Click Submit.

| The Boneyard lot near the Liberty Hall ruins will be closed to parking on Sept. 1 in preparation for the Block Party fireworks display that will be held that evening. Any vehicles remaining in the Boneyard Lot once preparations for the fireworks begin may be towed. |

| Upcoming Public Safety Relocation |
|
| The Department of Public Safety will officially relocate to 200 Generals Lane on Monday, Aug. 31. While administrative offices will be transitioning to the new space, officers and the dispatch center will continue to provide uninterrupted public safety services throughout the move. |

The party will feature food and drinks, lawn games, museum swag, and an artist-led seal carving workshop. This event is free and open to the W&L campus community. 21st Annual Tom Wolfe Weekend
Sept. 4-5
|
Washington and Lee University will host its 21st annual Tom Wolfe Weekend Sept. 4-5. The weekend’s seminar will feature George Saunders, whose new novel “Vigil” has been named a New York Times bestseller. This year’s seminar is co-sponsored by the Office of Lifelong Learning and the Roger Mudd Center for Ethics. Saunders will present the keynote address at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4, in University Chapel, followed by a book signing in Washington Hall. The keynote address and additional programming on Saturday are free and open to the public.
