| On behalf of the university, Human Resources (HR) recognizes the passing of employees, retirees and their immediate family members by sending a peace lily or making a memorial contribution. Please notify HR with a copy of the obituary as soon as possible when you learn of a death. Immediate family includes spouse/domestic partner, parents/stepparents, siblings, children/stepchildren, grandparents, grandchildren, brothers/sisters-in-law, mothers/fathers-in-law and sons/daughters-in-law. Additionally, HR will send a peace lily or memorial for the passing of retirees and the spouses of living retirees. Thank you for helping the university acknowledge these losses in a timely manner. |

|
| W&L faculty and staff receive a 10% discount when dining in The Marketplace. This discount is an individual employee benefit and applies only to the faculty or staff member's meal. Friends, spouses, family members and other guests should pay the applicable door price. Children's pricing is available for guests ages 6–12, and children five and under dine free. Faculty and staff do not need to pay with their W&L ID card to receive the discount. Simply identify yourself as a W&L faculty or staff member at the register, then pay using your preferred accepted payment method. |
