Make Use of the W&L Exchange
Did you know that the Office of Sustainability maintains the W&L Exchange, a space where members of the W&L community can share resources, cutting down on both landfill waste and unnecessary purchasing? The exchange is a great place to donate unwanted or excess items or supplies. It's also an excellent spot to browse for items you could use. For those interested in "shopping," the exchange has plenty of binders, folders, stationary, desk organizers, kitchen items and a plethora of artificial flowers (sourced from the 2024 Mock Convention floats) just waiting for a new home!
The exchange is located in Early Fielding 121 and a back-to-school browse event is set for tomorrow (Sept. 6) from 9 to 11 a.m. You can also schedule a visit by contacting Jane Stewart, director of sustainability, to arrange a time. Dropoffs can be made at any time by simply placing the items outside of the exchange door. The regular hours for Fall Term will be posted on the exchange webpage next week.
