Undergraduate Commencement - May 25, 2023
Graduation for the Class of 2023 is just weeks away! The university's 236th undergraduate Commencement is scheduled for Thursday, May 25, 2023, at 10 a.m. on the Front Lawn of the main campus. The Baccalaureate Service is scheduled for Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 10 a.m., also on the Front Lawn. Commencement ceremonies will be broadcast live on the web for those unable to attend. Washington and Lee Athletics
W&L offers 24 varsity sports, 12 for men and 12 for women. All sports compete at the NCAA Division III level, and most participate in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). Spring sports are entering their final stages, and the Generals are preparing for postseason competition. Hill connects the dots between his formative years and strong bonds to his family, his teaching and research, and his latest role as the DeLaney Center's inaugural director in shaping its programming, research and aspirations.
