In every episode of Washington and Lee's Office of Lifelong Learning podcast, "W&L After Class," we invite parents and families to join conversations with our expert faculty, giving you a walk down the Colonnade even if you're hundreds of miles away. You'll hear from favorite faculty members about topics they know and love, and meet new professors who can introduce you to new worlds. |
The latest episode, "Paying It Forward," features Michael Hill, professor and chair of the Africana Studies program and the director of the university's new DeLaney Center, an interdisciplinary academic center for teaching and research on Southern race relations, culture, and politics. Hill connects the dots between his formative years and strong bonds to his family, his teaching and research, and his latest role as the DeLaney Center's inaugural director in shaping its programming, research and aspirations.
