Recent Updates for Parents and Students
Welcoming Students to W&L
The university's Student Affairs team is thrilled to welcome students back to W&L. It's a special time on campus as fall athletes complete pre-season practice, upper division students settle into their housing, and our first-year students arrive and are introduced to a place we hope will soon feel like home to them. With the academic year about to begin, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students Sidney Evans sent a communication to parents and families in which she shared a variety of Student Affairs resources for their reference.
Hazing Prevention Education and Adam's Law
Undergraduate and law students recently received an important update regarding the university's ongoing hazing prevention education program and the significance of the new Adam's Law in the Commonwealth of Virginia. This law prioritizes hazing prevention training and institutional transparency, and we want to make sure you're aware of what this new law means for W&L's ongoing hazing prevention efforts.
