Washington and Lee Athletics |
|
W&L offers 24 varsity sports, 12 for men and 12 for women. All sports compete at the NCAA Division III level, and most participate in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). The ODAC recently released its 2022-23 All-Academic Team, and Washington and Lee once again led the league with a record-shattering number of athletes honored. The Generals totaled 529 of the 2,514 All-Academic Team members named from the 17 member institutions. W&L became the league's first institution to exceed the 500 mark and broke the previous record of 461 set last year by the Generals. The Blue and White compiled a state-best 236-77-9 (.747) overall record during the 2022-23 school year, claiming 12 ODAC championships. |
Opening games for several fall sports teams take place Sept. 1. View the 2023-24 composite sports schedule. |
