Campus Kitchen Cookie Care Kits |
|
Are you looking for a way to send your student some support during exam week? Look no further than the Campus Kitchen Cookie Care Kits! These packages of 10 homemade salted chocolate chip cookies are available for pre-order now and will be delivered to students living on W&L's campus on Monday, April 14. If your student lives off campus, they can pick up their Cookie Care Kit on April 14 in the Mattingly House at W&L. All of the proceeds from the sale of these Cookie Care Kits will go to support the Campus Kitchen Backpack Program, a food relief program that aims to address the meal gap K-12 students on free or reduced lunch in Lexington and Rockbridge face over the weekend. The Campus Kitchen at Washington and Lee is a student organization that addresses food insecurity and food waste in and around Lexington and Rockbridge County. |

Washington and Lee Athletics |
|
W&L Athletics teams and individuals shined throughout postseason play over the last month. Men's and women's swimming and women's track & field all won ODAC championships and sent individuals to NCAA competition, where three track & field athletes and six men's swimmers combined for 14 All-America citations. Women's basketball finished the season at 25-5 overall and made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, while the wrestling team placed fourth at the regional meet and sent four to the national championships. Finally, men's track & field took second at the ODAC Indoor Championships and men's basketball finished ninth in the ODAC standings. |

The April 11-12 seminar features author Jayne Anne Phillips and her novel, “Night Watch,” which received the 2024 Pulitzer Prize for fiction and follows a mother and daughter seeking refuge in the aftermath of the Civil War. This is the 20th year of the seminar, which is sponsored by the W&L Class of 1951 in honor of Tom Wolfe, their late classmate. |

Learn from the best of W&L’s undergraduate researchers by listening to the top presentations from W&L’s biennial Science, Society and the Arts undergraduate conference at 7 p.m. on April 1. Students will become teachers and alumni students as they hear from undergrads on the theme of “unlikely pairings,” delving into the ways in which diverse academic and artistic pursuits can have unexpected impacts beyond their immediate context. Housing Selection Applications Closes |
All upper-division students planning to live in on-campus housing (including Greek and theme housing) must complete the Fall 2025 housing application by April 7 to participate in the housing lottery and selection process, which takes place May 6-9. Learn more

Winter Term exams begin on April 12 and end on April 18. The last day of Winter Term classes is April 11. |

Spring Break |
No classes are held from Saturday, April 19, to Sunday, April 27. |

Spring Term classes begin on Monday, April 28. Add/drop ends at midnight on Tuesday, April 29. |

Spring Term Examinations |
The last day of Spring Term classes is Friday, May 23. Spring Term examinations are held at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 24. |

Commencement |
The 238th Undergraduate Commencement is scheduled for Thursday, May 29 at 10 a.m. on the Front Lawn of the main campus. The Baccalaureate Service is scheduled for Wednesday, May 28 at 10 a.m., also on the Front Lawn. Commencement ceremonies will be broadcast live for those unable to attend. Learn more
