Save the Date: Parents and Family Weekend Oct. 6-8, 2023
W&L recently hosted students' families on campus for the 2022 Parents and Family Weekend, which featured informational and recreational activities, engagement opportunities with faculty members, and numerous sports and social events. The university has announced the dates for next year's Parents and Family Weekend: Oct. 6-8, 2023. Registration and other information about the weekend will be shared well in advance of the event.

W&L Presents ‘Family Guy’s’ Mike Henry ’88
Henry, a writer, producer and voice actor, will give a public talk on Oct. 20 at 5:30 p.m. in the Keller Theatre.
W&L Music Presents Fall Choral Concert Oct. 25
The performance, which will take place at 8 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall, will also be available to watch via Livestream at livestream.com/wlu.
W&L Presents ‘Selections from The Lindsay Webster Collection of Cuban Posters at Wofford College’
Webster is the parent of Lily Webster ’22 and Will Webster ’20. The show is on display in Wilson Hall’s Lykes Atrium through Nov. 2.
Oscar Jerome Stewart to Present Next Lecture in the Mudd Lecture Series
Stewart, an assistant professor of management at the College of Charleston, will lecture on Nov. 3.
W&L Center for International Education Presents Public Lecture
University of Cambridge professor Ayse Zarakol's talk, titled “Before the West: The Rise and Fall of Eastern World Orders,” will be held Nov. 14.
 
Washington and Lee Athletics
W&L offers 24 varsity sports, 12 for men and 12 for women. All sports compete at the NCAA Division III level, and most participate in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). The fall seasons for the Generals are in full swing and conference competition is about to heat up. View the 2022-23 composite sports schedule. You'll hear from favorite faculty members about topics they know and love and meet new professors who can introduce you to new worlds.

The W&L Outing Club offers students, faculty and staff a variety of outdoor activities and classes. W&L students lead most of the activities, which include backpacking, fly fishing, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, rock climbing, mountain biking, caving, skiing and outdoor cooking.
